All pets that we come in contact with need to be current on their shots and, if they are a pet that goes outside or has contact with outside pets, current on flea treatment.
We reserve the right to address immediate concerns with your pet. If they reasonably appear to be ill enough to require medical attention, they will be taken to their vet, or an emergency animal hospital, unless there is a previously known medical issue to explain the symptoms. We will attempt to call you and your vet first, but your permission to treat is implicit. If there is a painful hair tangle, and brushing does not easily remove it, fur may be trimmed vertically until the tension on the skin is relieved. Long claws that cause your pet obvious discomfort will result in your pet being taken in for a nail trim. All vet charges are immediately payable by the owner to the clinic. A pet carrier must be at the home, or a $15 charge will apply to use one of ours and disinfect it afterwards, should the need arise.
It might all sound stern, but we're serious about your pet's well-being. Chances are that an emergency won't come up, but if it does, please know that we will do our best by your pet!

Yes we do! Having someone in your house for an extended time generally helps your pet feel assured that their needs will be taken care of while you are gone.
We do not stay overnight, or more than two hours, in a house where tobacco is smoked, or heavily perfumed products (such as cleaning products and diffusers) are used, as Tabby has an allergic reaction to them.

We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations, and there is a a $25 cancellation fee.
However, you can reschedule online if your dates change, with only 12 hours notice and with no fee.
Some petsitting services bill after the fact. Some bill in advance. And some take a deposit and bill afterwards. It just depends, but in general, the petsitters who bill afterwards do so because they have very regular clients and don't often take new ones. We'd love to become your regular petsitter! If finances are a bit difficult right this moment, just let us know and we'll try to work something out.
But booking with payment in advance does mean that, for the time you selected, we are there for you, period. That time is all yours.
